Entry Transfers

Please complete the form below for all entry transfer requests

To keep this process manageable for us, please only use the below form to request transfers within the time frames listed for each event. If you’ve completed the form by the cut off time, we will get it done for you so please be patient while we work through the list.

Please note:

  • You’ll need to complete this form once per race / per person transferring.
  • Any exchange of funds/favours is worked out between the buyer and the seller, and Those Guys Events is not responsible for that transaction.
  • We strongly recommend the transfer is completed (the new runner has successfully entered) before any funds are exchanged.
  • Please be fair and don’t sell your entry for more than you paid. The price you paid will be visible to the new entrant and anyone found to be profiting off transfers may be asked not to enter our events again.

Refunds are not available however entry transfers may be accepted up until 12 midnight AEST on the Wednesday prior to each event. We really are sorry if you’ve missed that cut off, but we need this time to process transfers that have come in on time and do all of the final organisation to put on a great morning out on the trails.

Entry transfers will be accepted for:

  • Existing participant moving to a different event in the 2021-22 Series only. Note: you can’t transfer to an event after it is sold out.
  • Existing participant changing distance at the same event in which you’re currently registered. We’ll notify you when we’ve made the change. If moving from Short to Long, you’ll need to pay the additional cost to finalise your entry again. A refund is not available if changing from Long to Short.
  • A new participant replacing an existing participant in the same event only. Once your form is processed, you’ll receive an entry code to pass onto the new runner so they can enter online as normal, while only paying a $10 admin fee. It is your responsibility to pass this code onto the new runner and to receive any funds/favours/brownie points that have been agreed on between yourselves.

    An additional $10 will be payable to finalise this change. We'll notify you by email when this is ready to be paid.

    There is no extra charge or refund applicable for this transfer type. We'll email you once the change has been made.
    Transfer codes are created manually, and will be sent to you before your event if your form has come through before the relevant cut-off date. Please keep an eye on your inbox and SPAM folder for an email from us with further instructions. The new runner will need to pay the $10 transfer fee when they log in to process the entry.

    As all season 9 events are full this option is no longer available

    Event Cancellation or Postponement

    If any of the events in the series is unable to go ahead as scheduled, ie due to weather, lockdowns, or other unforseen circumstances, you’ll be offered the choice of:

    • Transferring to the new date, if the event has been rescheduled.
    • Transferring your entry to another event in the same Series.
    • Transferring your entry to another runner.
    • A refund minus a $5 processing fee.

    The last option is only possible for direct entries. If you joined using a transfer code (ie didn’t pay your entry fee directly to us), you’ll only be able to opt for one of the transfer options.
